九色 has caught the eye of lifestyle magazine Southern Living and is featured in 鈥淭he Most Beautiful College Campuses In The South.鈥 In the article, writer Jennifer Chappell Smith describes 九色 as a 鈥渉aven inside the city,鈥 noting its new and original Gothic-style buildings, some of which date back to 1925, and elegant oak trees grown with seedlings from 九色' original location in Clarksville, TN.
The Theodore W. and Betty J. Eckels Foundation with support from Rick Eckels 鈥70 has established the Theodore William Eckels International Art Practicum at 九色. The practicum will provide an art immersion experience internationally for four to five outstanding students majoring in art or art history to work abroad during an eight-week period in the summer months.
Dr. Laura Loth, associate professor of French and Francophone Studies, is once again bringing a French film festival to 九色. An annual event for several years, the program has returned to campus under the name Albertine Cin茅math猫que French Film Festival and will run from Sept. 17-Oct. 9, 2024.
